Below are the nominees:

Seth Robertson – Cross Country – Herriman High School

Seth led his team to a regional championship, and ranked top 3 in state. He’s also a team captain and individually won 4 varsity races this year.

Mo Tuileta – Football – Jordan High School

Mo has been an exemplary student-athlete for Jordan this Fall. Off the field, Mo is a leader and shows his utmost attitude of gratitude daily.

Garrett Bland – Golf – Bingham High School

A solid golfer throughout the season, Garrett tied for the best golfer in Region 3. At the state tournament he was 5 over after 8 holes and battled the mental game to motivate and reset himself and finish the day even. Day 2 started out with this same resiliency that day 1 ended with and he shot a 3 under par. This landed him on the podium for a 2nd place overall finish. He was the perfect senior leader who when faced with adversity, won the battle and overcame to ultimately be the best he could be throughout the state tournament.

Erin Alldredge – Tennis – Mountain Ridge High School

Erin was this years team captain. She told me at the last match of the season, she didn’t even know tennis had captains when she was nominated. Not only did she do all tasks asked of her, she went above and beyond to make all Varsity, JV, and alternate girls feel important and supported. She sat and watched every single girl play right at the fence and was everyone’s biggest fan. She has many other responsibilities outside tennis, but prioritizes appropriately in order to accomplish them all beautifully. It was a tough season, but she never let that affect herself of the teams attitude and spirit! I couldn’t be more proud of Erin and the amazing friend, help, and athlete she was during Mountain Ridge’s first year of girls tennis!

Victoria Watson – Volleyball – Jordan High School

Victoria has been a leader for Volleyball as well as a leader in the classroom. Victoria brings smiles to everyone she is around, everyday.

Kenli Coon – Soccer – Corner Canyon

Kenli scored the lone goal in an even match against the Layton Lancers to push her team to the 6A Quarterfinals.
